Sacred Heart Offers 7th Edition Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) Classes

MIRAMAR BEACH, Fla. (Feb. 1, 2017) – Sacred Heart Hospital on the Emerald Coast is offering a 7th Edition Neonatal Resuscitation Program course. This is an Instructor led course featuring interactive, simulation-based teaching and learning for Providers who regularly care for a neonate that may require resuscitation.

The Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) is an educational program jointly sponsored with the American Heart Association (AHA). The course conveys an evidence-based approach to care of the newborn at birth and facilitates effective team-based care for healthcare professionals who care for newborns at the time of delivery. Attendees will learn about the latest AAP/AHA Guidelines for Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation and Emergency Cardiovascular Care of the Neonate, preparing for resuscitation and post-resuscitation care.

NRP Class Dates and times:


  • Friday, Feb. 10 from 6:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. (enrollment closes Feb. 9)

  • Monday, Feb. 20 from 7:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. (enrollment closes Feb. 19)

  • Monday, Mar. 6 from 6:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. (enrollment closes Mar. 5)

  • Tuesday, Mar. 28 from 7:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. (enrollment closes Mar. 27)


Classes will be held at Sacred Heart on the Emerald Coast, Suite 1 - Education Building. Cost is $100 per person.
